 The Grey is a man versus nature survival,

action story. Liam Neeson plays John Ottaway, whose

job is to protect oil company employees from predatory

wolves.

            After their plane crashes, Neeson leads an eclectic

group of oil-rig rough-necks through the remote Alaskan wilderness. 

 At 59, Neeson demonstrates he's got what it takes for a physically

demanding role in a harsh environment.

           Neeson is outstanding as usual, as is the

supporting cast, the story just has more holes than a piece of

Swiss cheese. During the film you may find yourself

asking "Why don't they do this ?". This is a good cast in 

the right setting with a less than stellar script.

     O.K. , if you particularly like this genre, just

glad we survived.
