Prometheus Movie Review

  Prometheus is visually mesmerizing, futuristic

and a marvel to behold.

  A team of scientist travel through the universe on

the spaceship Prometheus to discover the origins of

mankind.  After landing on a distant moon LV-223

the crew discovers an ancient spacecraft and a 

humanoid creature.  The team soon finds itself in

a race for survival not only for their own lives but

all of mankind.

    The special effects and the on-screen visual spectacle

are a sight of awe, both in size and content. At times

the audience may notice subtle similarities between David

the android portrayed by Michael Fassbender and Hal

the computer voice from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

 Although Prometheus is an Alien prequel it  lacks the

suspense and solid story that was so evident in Alien.

  Prometheus leaves one impressed visually but 

disappointed over substance.
