Ted Movie Review

Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy,

brings his own unique brand of humor to the

big screen in his directorial debut "Ted."

Ted is the foul-mouthed, pot smoking Teddy Bear

brought to life by John Bennett's (Mark Wahlberg)

childhood wish.

Ted is often crude, vulgar, outrageous and very

funny.

After years of watching Sam Jones in "Flash Gordon"

(and, yes, he makes a cameo) smoking pot, and cutting

up, John Bennett (Wahlberg) has a love interest, Lori

Collins ( Mila Kunis). This new love interest creates a

dilemma for John Bennett: Can John balance a new romance

with Lori and a friendship with Ted ?

There are notable performances by Giovanni Ribisi, Joel McHale,

and  narrator Patrick Stewart.

Ted is off the beaten track when it comes to comedy, and

provides just enough laughs to give the audience an

experience that could have been even better minus

the romance.

Nevertheless,Ted is a funny movie and Patrick Stewart's narration is

worth the price of admission alone.
