 Steven Spielberg delivers another wonderful movie

with nostalgia, epic cinematography, and an excellent

cinematic score by John Williams.

The story is based on the book by Michael Morpurgo,

and is a period piece set during World War I .

This is a sentimental journey that tugs at your heart,

and make no mistake the star of this film is the horse.

From the opening scenes you are drawn into this story

about  much more than it would appear on the surface.

This is a story of struggle and perseverance of people, the

soldiers caught in the conflict of battle and one very special horse.

The entire cast is excellent with notable stand out 

performances by Benedict Cumberbatch, Niels Arestrup,

and Tom Hiddleston.  Jeremy Irvine does a great job in

the role of Albert Narracott who trains the horse and develops

a bond that can not be broken.

War Horse is a must see movie and we give it our 

highest recommendation.
