Welcome back to the world of Mortal Kombat, if you haven't played this series before all you need to know is that ninjas fight each other, and  then the loser gets his head ripped off. The series has long been known for it's over the top violence and convoluted story but this entry in the series tries to reinvent the universe through time travel. 

  This entry in the series is the most polished that we have seen in years. All fighters are easy to pick up, because of the similar moves.This game allows you to transition from fighter to fighter easily . It is  friendly to newcomers offering a deep training mode. There is also plenty of unlockable content and several mini games and challenge modes for when the fighting gets to intense.

 We would recommend this game for fans of fighting games. If fighting games are not for you this game is at least worth renting.
