L.A. Noire Game Review

Developer: Team Bondi , Rockstar Games

Publisher: Rockstar Games

Released: May 17,2011

L.A Niore puts you into the shoes of Cole Phelps a Los Angeles Detective who is a veteran of World War II. As you play the game you will follow Phelps career form street cop to a Detective in four departments Traffic, Homicide, Vice and Arson.

The game looks great has several actors that you have seen before in the game and seeing these familiar faces in the game does not take you out of the experience. We had a great experience with L.A. Niore it makes you feel like you are in the fifties  all of the detail adds up to making one of the most realistic game worlds we have ever seen.

When investigating a crime scene you will find clues that you can use to while questioning suspects to prove that you know that they are lying. While questing a suspect you may accept what there saying is the truth, doubt there story or call them out on lying. To determine if they are lying, you will look at the actors reaction to a question and if you make the right choice you will get information to help you build your case.

Although the faces in the game are highly detailed, the tells of suspects are either very easy to find or extremely difficult. When you find a person that may have committed the crime you will almost allways put them in jail even if you don't have a solid case against them to move the story forward.

We would highly recommend this game to anyone old enough to play it. L.A. Niore may have some flaws but it is the best game We have played in years.
