   House of Lies is about Marty Kaan (Don Cheadle) 

and his team of experts who go to any means necessary

to land the big client. Once they discover the task at hand,

these clever consultants provide their clients the information

or services needed to meet their objective, moral or not.

  House of Lies is a sexy, modern take on corporate culture and the 

wheeling and dealing done to win over new clients. Marty

and his cohorts prove they will go to any means to achieve

success.

  Although, Marty is laser focused on his career, like many

who attain his achievements, his personal life lacks the same

dedication given to his employer. A single parent to a gender 

confused son, Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.), Marty's parenting

responsibilities are shared with his overbearing father, Jeremiah Kaan

(Glynn Turman), a live-in nanny of sorts.To complicate things further,

Marty's ex-wife Monica Talbot, (Dawn Olivieri), is an alcohol guzzling

executive who just happens to work for the competition, and doesn't share 

Marty's passions for parenting. These two go head-to-head in their pursuit 

of A-List clients, with an occasional sexual encounter, either for spite

or to revisit the only part of their marriage the two agreed on.

  Jeannie Van Der Hooven (Kristen Bell) is the ambitious, witty,

yet insecure member of Marty's team that seems to perpetually

seek a bigger role in the consulting  business whether it be with

Marty, or elsewhere, or even on her own.

  House of Lies is funny with well written dialogue, a talented

cast, and a good director's eye. For those seeking something

greater than a tired overdone reality show, House of Lies offers

an abundance of creativity and laughs in an impressive presentation.
