Grimm Review

   Portland,Oregon detective, Nick Burkhardt

discovers he has the ability to see creatures or 

supernatural beings.

   Inspired by Grimms' Fairy Tales the series has

a level of production not seen on network

television. This type of series is usually found

on pay cable premium channels.

  The pilot for the series was excellent and raised

the hopes of viewers that NBC was going to deliver

an experience usually saved for cable or film.

    Not one episode has been up to the writing

seen in the pilot, but it has got its footing and

appears to be living up to the hype and winning loyal

viewers. For television, the special effects are far better

than many previous attempts and the storyline is improving

with each episode.   Now, in its second season, will Grimm

become "safe" or take some chances and prove to the

audience it's just as edgy as the pilot?  We're betting on 

the latter.
