 In the era of remakes and reality

television the BBC has another "hit" in its

original drama,  "Luther."

       Luther is about an intelligent U.K. police detective,

John Luther. Idris Elba, who recently received the 

Golden Globe for best actor in a series, is brilliant

as John Luther, the detective he portrays.

   Unlike many of its counterparts, Luther is neither

predictable or boring. Each episode is well-written

with excellent dialogue and the entire cast is top notch.

  The detective, John Luther, is relentless in his pursuit of

justice, and he is not above questionable methods.  The 

story is always realistic and ripe with action and intrigue.

  Fans of the series were happy to hear in recent press

that there will be a third season. Season 1 and Season 2

are available on Digital,  DVD and Netflix.
